Ever wonder what to eat on the run? Me too! Eating Gluten Free will prove interesting this trip coming up! I think we've been GF since Sept/Oct per Dr's advice.....unlike "Some" people (aka as Mother) thinking it is another "diet". Oh I wish it were some days! lol but most days, thanks to my wonderful dil and also thanks to Jeanine Friesen @thebakingbeauties.com and her "Everything Guide to Living Gluten-Free" I hope Jeanine doesn't mind me plugging her cookbook, but her site AND her cookbook are THE best thing since inedible store bought GF bread! Everything I have tried on her site is the absolute most delicious thing. So, if you need to go GF, what to learn about it, etc.....go on over to Amazon.com and order her book today. You can also order it via her site......go ahead and plug away Jeanine if you read this! LOL
Anyway, lest I digress more.....the plan is in the works for attending the Quilt Show in Paducah, KY tomorrow! My first Quilt Show EVER!!! Thanks honey! Well, I have my budget (lol) and the main thing to bring is myself and "T" (aka as hubby).....and if hubby comes, besides coffee and hazelnut creamer.....we must feed the T!!!!
So, in my handy catch all, I am bringing the following: Almond Nut crackers, slided provolone, slided cheddar, Greek yogurts (raspberry and peach) along with my handy dandy appropriate Mixed Silk Mixed Berry and Peach Mango smoothies AND Protein mix!.....must not forget our mixer! :-) Assortments of Coffees for the hotel (both decaf and coffee!)
Think it's a bit much?! You should have seen how I packer BEFORE going GF. I have always been on the cheap side of cheap when it comes to eating out, so I have always packed a cooler for the car AND the hotel. Hotel?! I sure hope we can stay at our Holiday Inn Express.....half way close. On my list of last minute to do. :-) Spur of the moment trip....can ya tell?!
Hopefully I will be showing lots of quilts on this absolutely Wild Ride.....Hope to find lots of kids material on this trip because as always.......I'm thinking of my son and his family and wishing they were here! <3
